Fayetteville is the biggest of the four towns I work in, with about 209,000 people. It’s in Cumberland County and served by Cumberland County Schools. Just under half of homes are lived in by their owners, so there’s a large rental market as well as homes to buy.
Buying in Fayetteville
Neighborhoods here change block to block, so we drive them, not just scroll them. Some areas near creeks flooded in Hurricanes Matthew and Florence, so I look at flood maps and seller disclosures with every buyer. I’ve helped families buy here.
Renting in Fayetteville
A big rental market means steady tenant demand, and also plenty of competition. Pricing right and having the house ready matter more here than anywhere else I work.
